Cameron Granger is a Cinematic Arts major based out of Columbus and he’s creating some of the greatest visuals in Ohio right now. I absolutely fell in love with his Stray Sheep Project and ever since then I’ve been following his work. Today he brings us yet another visual gem, #COURTESYOFScreen Shot 2015-02-22 at 2.00.15 PM#COURTESYOF started off as a visual that would pay homage to one of the coolest monthly events in Ohio, #CourtesyOf. Last months event incorporated an outer space theme that quickly caught people’s eye. However, this video turned into something much deeper, with a bigger meaning, for the young filmmaker. Screen Shot 2015-02-22 at 1.45.30 PMScreen Shot 2015-02-22 at 1.59.03 PMThe subject wanders city streets on a chilly night, essentially searching for himself and peace. The yellow text seen throughout the short film can be viewed as his inner thoughts, or in other words, his true self. Watch this amazing visual below, I believe that this is something that we can all relate to. And even if you can’t manage to see yourself in this character, take note of the amazing shots, colors and camera movements that Cameron chose to use.
