Columbus was full of life last night and if you missed out, you missed a one of a kind experience. Cal Scruby was at Park Street Saloon with numerous talented Ohio rappers (more specifically, Columbus bred rappers like himself) performing short sets as his opening acts. Correy Parks, Tae Fresh, Hodgie, and Alexander Dreamer lit the place up before Cal came on, with DJ IQ from 106.7 The Beat as the DJ of the night.  It was so fun to see Ohio supporting Ohio. As weird as that may sound, sometimes it’s hardest to get the attention of the people in your own city. Many artists get overlooked but this event showed that they’re not going to let this happen anymore. Columbus will notice them, and did notice them last night. This is why this show was so special. King Vada even came on stage during Hodgie’s set and did a surprise performance for the crowd. The energy was off the wall, everybody was hype and when Cal Scruby came out he shook the place. If you haven’t checked out all of the artists mentioned, make sure to take a listen below. They are all worth your time and support!
