After a great run with Columbus Ohio’s groundbreaking rap group Fly Union followed by a break from music, the newly LA-based artist Jerreau (pronounced “Jer•Row”) resurfaced on Thursday with his highly anticipated debut album as a solo act, Never How You Plan.
“Never How You Plan is a collection of real life experiences and emotions. I like to say, I make music you live with. Drive to it, run to it, clean to it,” Jerreau told Complex. “Everything’s not black and white, there’s a lot of grey area; metaphors and double meanings. I just hope the music speaks to you.”
